Dovecotes for Bristol

Dovecotes for Bristol — 21 signatures. Status: rejected.

Petition background

Recently, a flock of pigeons has been evicted from their long term home of over 10 years. We want to introduce dovecotes to Bristol to fix this issue.

Additional details

The pigeons of north street used the abandoned mini mart as their home for 10+ years and have now been left displaced after access was removed for them. They now roost above the building, meaning their droppings are left on the pavement. We want to introduce the first of maybe many dovecotes to rehome these birds on a local green area. This will provide them with a home and remove their droppings from a public area.
