The Act 2026 introduces a generational tobacco ban affecting those born after 31 December 2008. I believe this creates unequal treatment between adults based on their birth dates. As a young person directly affected, I call for repeal and fairer alternatives to protect public health, support the NHS and uphold equal rights. I also propose exploring tobacco levies to help fund NHS treatment for smoking-related illnesses, without penalising patients. Protect personal freedom and equal rights.
