Currently there are only very few police vehicles that carry defibrillators. We want to make it mandatory for all Police Response Vehicles to carry defibrillators.

Additional details

All police officers complete CPR and Defibrillator training as part of their basic training, alongside annual refresher training. However, at present, their vehicles are the only emergency response vehicles that do not carry defibrillators. Police vehicles are very often the first emergency vehicle to reach scenes of cardiac emergencies. However, the vast majority of them are not carrying the life-saving tools they need to try to save a life. Give our Police officers the life-saving equipment they need. Defibs save lives.
