Require NHS England to establish national standards ensuring everyone diagnosed with endometriosis receives a personalised long-term care plan, scheduled reviews based on individual needs, appropriate ongoing monitoring, and a clear pathway for timely specialist reassessment when symptoms worsen.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition, yet patients can be left without structured follow-up after diagnosis, treatment or surgery. Many report having to repeatedly chase appointments while experiencing worsening pain and declining health. Patients deserve proactive care, clear guidance and continuity of support. Not reassessment only when they reach crisis point. National standards could help reduce avoidable suffering, delayed treatment and potentially serious complications.
