We want the Government to fund more support in the prison system for those suffering with depression and other mental health conditions, and fund training for more staff to support them and their families.

Additional details

We believe more needs to be done to support people struggling with their mental health in prison and encourage them to speak up and seek help. We are calling for better mental health support, proper safeguarding, accountability and urgent action to prevent further deaths in custody. Every life matters.
