Petition background

Require all shops selling vaping products to keep all stock behind locked doors or out of sight. Many stores do already do this, however we are concerned a number of retailers currently sell these products openly on the end of aisles, potentially allowing children to gain access very easily.

Additional details

Some products are within easy reach for children. These products are of a cheaper brand, and are advertised within certain stores on product advertising stands. These products are for sale to over 18s only, but unlike tobacco and other vaping products, are not hidden from view, or locked away at all, encouraging young children to see and in some cases purchase or even steal, due to the small size.
