Require local authorities and housing providers to work with residents to provide adequate, safe and accessible parking for people living in residential developments, recognising that parking is essential for diasbled residents, commuting to work and managing everyday responsibilities.
Multiple residents in our building have raised concerns about inadequate parking. Many rely on cars to commute to work and manage daily responsibilities. We request a long-term solution, such as a private residents car park or permits for the neighbouring Moulsecoomb university car park. This must also include the allocation of accessible parking spaces promised to disabled residents in their tenancy agreements.
