Require public email & phone support for all companies — 13 signatures. Status: open.
Companies often only have a phone number or email publicly available for customer contact, and many are obscured. Enforce a readily available email and phone number for all companies active in the UK to accommodate people who are deaf, blind have anxiety and other accessibility issues.
We believe that companies limiting contact to either phone or email while simultaneously obscuring their contact details behind FAQs and automated chat bots is an active disregard for customer wellbeing and purposefully designed to tire the customer out to the point that they simply give up in their pursuit for change. I propose all companies trading in the UK require a mandatory phone line and email address that is readily available on a Contact Us page on the company's websites.
