Review NHS Right to Choose ADHD and autism assessments and providers to prevent misuse of the system, ensure thorough assessments, and that nomination by parents are independently validated. We think such a review is needed to ensure consistent quality standards.
We are aware of concerns that Right to Choose providers, including Clinical Partners, may accept parent-nominated education informants without verifying their role or direct knowledge of the child. We therefore call for a review to ensure parent nominations are verified and from a reliable professional, and that assessments are sufficiently thorough, impartial and robust.
