Cuts to programmes such as You and Yours and The World Tonight threaten the depth and quality of public service broadcasting. These programmes hold powerful institutions to account, champion consumers and inform citizens. We believe the Government must ensure sustainable BBC funding that protects distinctive, high-quality programming for future generations.
