Ensure access to private pension at any age — 9 signatures. Status: open.
We have been encouraged to invest in a private pension by the government, but we are concerned that the state pension will not exist in the future. We think the government should have NO say in when we can access our own private pension. They should be accessible without tax charges at ANY age.
In our view, we do not see why the government, or anyone for that matter, should have any say in when we can access the money we have been saving for the majority of our lives. They shouldn’t. It should be our choice when we access our private pensions, no one else’s. We should have the opportunity to access our pensions at any age without tax charges, no matter the risk to our personal circumstances.
