Combining 20% VAT on deposits with 12% Insurance Premium Tax and commercial leasing pressures is pricing disabled people on fixed benefits out of essential, accessible family vehicles. Motability is a vital lifeline for independent living, not a luxury. We call on HM Treasury and the DWP to scrap these taxes and protect affordable mobility.
