We call for an urgent review to improve women's healthcare, including shorter gynaecology waiting lists, fairer fertility treatment, improved early pregnancy and maternity care, better menopause support, and earlier identification and treatment of reproductive health conditions throughout life.
The Government must make women's healthcare a national priority. Urgent action is needed to tackle gynaecology waiting lists, remove unfair fertility treatment restrictions, improve early pregnancy, miscarriage, pregnancy loss and maternity care, and ensure timely menopause support. We believe routine gynaecological assessments should begin from the first menstrual cycle to enable earlier diagnosis, faster treatment and better outcomes throughout women's lives, with fair and timely access to care.
