Review use of synthetic hormones in hormone replacement therapy — 13 signatures. Status: open.
We call on the Government to review menopause and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) care across England, particularly the approach to cases where hormone treatments are failing to improve symptoms.
We want an independent review of synthetic use of HRT across England, including testosterone uses, and what we see as a 'one size fits all' approach. There must be interventions where improvement is inadequate. Women across England deserve consistent, personalised, identical replacement, evidence-based and National standards must be enforceable, and publicly monitored, with clear responsibility at every level of the NHS.
