We want the Government to introduce a national knife crime prevention strategy, including harsher sentences, education in schools & prisons, youth services & early intervention, a confidential support helpline, & safe guidance for people who want to surrender knives before they are used.
No parent should have to watch their child face a future devastated by a knife attack. I am asking Parliament to act before another family gets that phone call: educate young people about knife crime, invest in youth support and early intervention, strengthen rehabilitation, and give people a safe way to ask for help and walk away from violence.
