Require employers, regardless of sector, to have fully inclusive application procedures. Prospective employees should be allowed to apply by whichever means is appropriate for them, provided they supply all information required (e.g. full employment and education history for safeguarding purposes).
We believe the current system, whereby employers can have their own application forms in differing formats and often will not accept a CV (despite all the information on the form being in a standard CV), is not at all inclusive. For many neurodiverse people, the mere idea of a longwinded form can make our brains freeze due to executive disfunction. This can be highly frustrating, particularly if form requires completion in one sitting or the job is advertised on a site that already holds all relevant information.
