Establish a Natural Wealth Dividend so those who extract or damage natural resources pay for their use, with the resulting revenue transparently returned for the benefit of everyone.

Additional details

We believe humanity shares a common interest in Earth’s fundamental natural wealth. Companies should be able to use natural resources, but must pay a fair, transparent and measurable charge when extracting resources or causing environmental damage. The revenue should be independently accounted for and returned for the benefit of everyone through a Natural Wealth Dividend. The Government should investigate how this could be implemented in the UK and promoted internationally.
