We want the Government to introduce statutory minimum standards for direct employer recruitment, including requirements for genuine recruitment, accurate material information about vacancies and proportionate accountability for serious or misleading recruitment practices.
Jobseekers can spend significant time completing applications, assessments and interviews. We believe people should be able to expect that advertised opportunities are genuine and material information is accurate. Employers should remain free to choose whom to hire, change legitimate business requirements or withdraw vacancies, but recruitment should meet basic standards of honesty and transparency.
