We ask the Government to fund a national awareness campaign on the Bereavement Support Payment to make it more well known. People may only find out about it by chance or word of mouth. The Government should ensure information about how to apply is available on the Tell Us Once Service.

Additional details

We want the campaign to particularly target long term partners who didn't get chance to marry. We believe a national awareness campaign is necessary to ensure the needs of people who are already going through a difficult enough time are considered.
