The UK voted to leave the European Union in 2016 and formally left in 2020. Since then, the impact of Brexit has become clearer, and our relationship with Europe has changed significantly. The public should have the opportunity to decide whether rejoining the EU is in the UK’s best interests. A national referendum would allow voters to consider the evidence and circumstances today and make their own democratic choice.
