Petition background

I want it to be required by law for any food business to label on packaging if a product may contain gluten. This is not currently required and has affected me many times as a coeliac. Clear gluten risk labelling should be mandatory.

Additional details

Companies and businesses currently do not need to say on the products packaging if the product may contain gluten. This has led to a huge amount of coeliacs being given gluten by mistake, including me, which has severe effects. I want every company/business to have to state on their packaging if the product may contain gluten.
