We want the Government to stop punishing low-income commuters and young people, and to give us affordable transport! We feel travel costs are too high. E-bikes provide free travel but can cost thousands to buy. Gas-powered bicycles and pit bikes under 100cc can cost a fraction of the price and match e-bike top speeds, yet current legislation restricts their use. Legalising the use of gas-powered bicycles and pit bikes could create transport equality for low-income workers and youth, and unlock affordable, independent travel!
