The government need to review the loophole paying parents use of adding a new partners children who are not the paying parents children to lower the payments they make as money is being taken away from biological children they rightfully deserve for non biological children
Often paying parents exploit the loophole of adding a new partners children to their child maintenance account as a way to lower the payments and take money from their biological children who they legally have to support in favour of no biological children who they legally don’t have to support and who are already supported by two parents so the biological children are losing out on money they are legally entitled to which is unfair on the children and puts strain on the other parent
