Our German shepherd at the age of 5 was diagnosed with a tumour on his spleen which had burst and bleeding out into his stomach, the vet told us he was probably born with this and 90% chance of being cancerous we had no choice but to put him to sleep.. if this was detected from him being 6~8 weeks old with a simple scan he would still be here, unfortunately it was too late for him, there's too many dog's passing with this condition, the styem needs changing
