Protect transgender people’s right to use their preferred public toilets — 16 signatures. Status: rejected.
Change the law and government guidance to ensure that transgender people are allowed to use public toilets that correspond with their gender identity, while ensuring that everyone can access safe, appropriate and inclusive toilet facilities.
Transgender people should be able to use public toilets that correspond with their gender identity without fear of discrimination, harassment or being made to feel excluded. Everyone deserves to access public facilities safely and with dignity. We are asking the UK Government to protect transgender people’s ability to use appropriate public toilets while ensuring facilities remain safe, private and accessible for everyone.
