I want parliament to let me clean headstones voluntary again — 7 signatures. Status: rejected.
I set up a page on Facebook asking if anyone would like their loved ones grave cleaned. In 10 weeks I cleaned 56 graves but got stopped by the council. I want parliament to help me continue my great work in the cemetery as I was doing this voluntary.
This petition is to help me get back doing what I love doing and that’s helping the local community out with their loved ones graves. In the 10 weeks of doing this the whole community was coming together and now it’s been ripped apart by the Council causing so many obstructions instead of just helping me go forward with this. I’m fighting for this as there’s people out there suffering long term illnesses or live abroad and can’t manage to maintain their loved ones grave.
