We call on the Government to introduce an income tax relief for single occupancy households, to help single households who also pay tax, outgoings and experience the cost of living, but all on a single income.
In our view, single occupancy households have similar outgoings as those where both partners are working, and very often bring in double the income, yet have similar outgoings to households who only have one income. Cost of living is making our lives increasingly difficult. We call for tax relief for single occupancy households.
