Close loopholes for food delivery platforms that allow delivery account holders to substitute and pass on their delivery job to another worker.

Additional details

We believe delivery drivers using rented or shared accounts put the public at serious risk. We are concerned by cases were delivery drivers using someone else’s account have committed crimes whilst making deliveries. We feel customers have no reliable way of knowing who is actually delivering. We call on the Government to close substitution loopholes and require delivery platforms to take legal responsibility for the actions of anyone operating under their company.
