We call on the UK Government to offer to deploy RAF fighter jets, air defence units and ground forces to Ukraine’s border regions to help secure Ukrainian airspace and free-up Ukrainian front-line troops.

Protecting Ukrainian airspace and securing non-combat border zones (such as northern or western borders) against potential threats could allow Ukraine’s military forces to deploy their troops where they are needed most. Providing air cover and ground support could help protect civilian infrastructure from aerial bombardment, bolster stability and defence across the region, and save innocent lives.
