We know what AI data centres have done to the environment in America. We have had four heatwaves this year and parts of the country are in a drought, the data centres will cause irreparable damage to our already struggling climate and water. We did not need Ai in the past, and we do not need it now!
With our PM approving an Ai data centre being built in London, I know that this and many other plans for ai data centres have to be stopped. Ai data centres rely specifically on fresh water, something that the UK is running out of due to the droughts. These data centres also put a heavy strain on the power grid, using more electricity than the local area can provide. The fumes it produce are dangerous to peoples health. These ai data centres are going to be the death of our climate and us!
