I am a victim of domestic abuse living with the lasting trauma and fear caused by the crimes committed against me. It is wrong that violent and repeat offenders can be released early while victims continue to live with the consequences. Court sentences must mean what they say. Victims’ safety must come first, and dangerous domestic abuse offenders should serve the full sentences they receive.
