Appoint a mental health commissioner for all mental health care in England — 65 signatures. Status: open.
The commissioner should be responsible for reviewing new and existing training in the NHS. There have been bad choices causing clients so many issues both personal and medical.
The whole system needs to be reviewed to help make sure bad choices does not happen ever again. Some clients have been given medication without reviewing side effects or knowing their medication records, and been given booklets to read about their current symptoms which is not in any way any help what so ever. Many have been let down by the system. Action needs to happen now so that people can feel assured that there is actual help and support out there that can suit the clients needs and support.
