Additional details

Private e-scooters are an affordable and environmentally friendly way to travel short distances. Rental e-scooters are already allowed in some areas, but privately owned ones remain restricted. We want the Government to introduce clear regulations, such as speed limits and age requirements, to allow safe legal use. Safety Rules: Safety rules: 5-10 mph on pavements, 20 mph on cycle lanes/paths, up to 30 mph on roads, plus lights, indicators and suspension.
