Additional details

Currently certain groups of our community can carry a knife because of thier religious belief or as part of a traditional costume. Then only when these knives are used will they be defined as offence weapons which is “after the horse has bolted” approach. The current policy promotes a culture of carrying knifes for defence reason because other can carry.
