Many children and young people wait months or even years for CAMHS support and autism (ASD) assessments. These delays can worsen mental health, increase stress for families, and affect education and daily life. The Government should provide additional NHS funding to recruit more specialists, expand services, and reduce waiting lists so that young people can access the support and diagnoses they need in a timely manner.
