Do not introduce Digital ID, atleast let the public vote on it — 7 signatures. Status: rejected.

Petition background

Introducing digital ID is a massive breach of our privacy and should not be introduced in any shape or form. I strongly believe the public should be given a fair opportunity to vote on this matter at the very least, not just Labour MPs

Additional details

The Labour government are set on introducing the digital ID platform which I and many others believe to be an outrageous attempt to gain control of the public and their private information. Consider which countries around the world that use similar systems on their citizen's. This is a government that has already tried to limit our freedom of speech by canceling elections, locking up members of the public for their opinions. Just think what this Digital ID could lead to.
