Introduce a Citizen-Initiated Referendum to Trigger a General Election. — 6 signatures. Status: rejected.
Parliament should allow citizens to trigger a General Election through a secure online vote of no confidence. It would pass only with 75% voting No Confidence and 60% turnout, automatically dissolving Parliament.
Parliament should pass a law allowing citizens to trigger a General Election via a secure online vote of no confidence. Governments can lose support mid-term but serve up to five years. This would strengthen democracy with a high bar: 75% No Confidence and 60% turnout to automatically dissolve Parliament and call a GE within 6 weeks. This balanced reform would restore trust and improve accountability.
