Work with Transport for London to fund and accelerate installation of onboard CCTV across all Underground trains, prioritising high-traffic lines such as the Central Line, to improve passenger safety and support enforcement.

Additional details

While CCTV is widely used in stations, not all London Underground trains have onboard coverage. This creates gaps in safety, particularly on busy lines. Incidents such as harassment and antisocial behaviour are harder to investigate without onboard footage. Expanding CCTV coverage would deter crime, support investigations and improve safety for passengers and staff.
