Meningitis B is a serious and deadly disease affecting primarily children, teenagers, and young adults. No young person born prior to 2015 is protected through the NHS. It was deemed vital, to be added to the vaccination programme, yet an entire generation of young people have been neglected. The Government can prevent avoidable deaths and life‑altering outcomes. Extend the vaccine to all born after 2015 ensure young people entering secondary, college, and university are not at risk.
