Change the legal age to buy and consume alcohol to 16

Change the legal age to buy and consume alcohol to 16 — 68 signatures. Status: open.

Petition background

Make the legal drinking age 16 in public places like bars and clubs. Make the legal age to purchase alcohol from shops 16 too.

Additional details

16-year-olds can go into the army, work and contribute to the economy. We think it’s only fair they get the same privileges 18-year-olds do. We believe it could also boost the economy with more people contributing to small businesses.
