The planned budget changes will increase tax further for many working people BUT still find the money to increase welfare payments. Recent reports suggest that soon 1 in 4 workers in full time jobs would be better off staying at home on benefits - often by thousands (and even tens of thousands) of pounds. This is madness ! Our tax and welfare systems have to show people that their work is valued and it has to be financially worth working - if not, more and more will choose to stop.
