It is time to ensure that the water industry is run for the benefit of people, by renationalising the water industry or the creation of purely not for profit organisations capable and duty bound to ensure proper investment into water and sewerage treatment infrastructure
Given the disgraceful management of water companies, ongoing water supply issues and continuous marine pollution events it is time to cut off the gravy train of unfathomable shareholder and board payouts and to ensure that the water industry is run for the benefit of the consumer, for whom safe and continuous water supply and clean marine environments is nothing less than a right and an entitlement
