We therefore call on His Majesty’s Government to bring forward urgent legislation that: • Prohibits all foreign nationals from claiming any UK welfare benefits, Universal Credit, housing assistance, child benefit, or other taxpayer-funded state support until they have worked for 5 years.

Additional details

Foreign nationals who have never paid a penny in tax are claiming £10.1bn+ in UK benefits annually – 1.9 million claimants straining our £303bn welfare system. This is unsustainable and unfair. Ban all welfare access for migrants until they have contributed for at least five years. British taxpayers have to come first.
