'Protect the NHS' and 'Save Lives' by continuing to fund NHS COVID boosters for Clinically Vulnerable people, including most previously shielded as CEV, rather than limiting them to over-75s, care home residents and those with severely weakened immune systems.
From autumn 2025 the Government will deny millions of Clinically Vulnerable people NHS vaccines including people with: diabetes, heart, lung or kidney disease and Down’s syndrome. They continue to face far higher health risks. NHS vaccines are cheaper than private boosters at ~£100, and an ICU bed over £1,800 per day. We vaccinate the same people against 'flu because it also causes serious illness and death. Keep NHS boosters. Protect the vulnerable, the NHS, and save lives
